Odeum (fish cake) stir-fry in the style of a "kisa" restaurant.
Stir-frying⏱ 10min👥 4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 pieces of square fish cake (200g).
- 4 pieces of imitation crab meat.
- 1/4 of an onion.
- Approximately 10 slices of carrot.
- 1 red chili pepper.
- 1 green chili pepper.
- 3 tablespoons of chili oil.
- Ingredients for the marinade (sauce): 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sugar, 3 tablespoons honey or corn syrup, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and 1/2 teaspoon dashi powder.
Instructions
1
Cut the fish cakes (eomuk), imitation crab meat (matsal), and vegetables (onion, carrot, and chili pepper) into bite-sized pieces.
2
In a pan heated with chili oil, add the fish cakes, onion, and carrot, and stir-fry over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
3
Push the ingredients to one side, create a space in the center, and pour in the sauce. Then, bring it to a boil.
4
Add the imitation crab meat and chili peppers, and stir gently to ensure they are evenly coated with the seasoning before lightly frying.
5
Once the ingredients are stir-fried until all the sauce has been absorbed and nothing is sticking to the bottom of the pan, turn off the heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
