Super Easy Stir-Fried Noodles (Yaki Udon)
Stir-frying⏱ 5min👥 1 servings
Ingredients
- Udon noodles, single serving.
- A moderate amount of bacon (or pork belly, ham, Spam, chicken, etc.).
- A moderate amount of Napa cabbage.
- Onions, a moderate amount.
- A small amount of carrots.
- A small amount of chives.
- Oyster sauce-based marinade (containing oyster sauce, sugar, etc.).
- A small amount of broth.
- A pinch of pepper.
Instructions
1
Cook the noodles for about 2 minutes (be careful not to stir them too vigorously with chopsticks, as this can cause them to break).
2
First, fry the bacon in a pan until it releases enough oil.
3
Once the bacon starts rendering its fat, add the Napa cabbage and onion and stir-fry them together.
4
Once the vegetables are partially cooked, add the noodles and a special sauce, and stir-fry everything together until well combined.
5
Add carrots and chives according to your preference.
6
When the sauce becomes too thick, add a little bit of the pasta water to adjust the consistency, then sprinkle with pepper and serve with Korean radish.
