Smoked Brie Cheese with Filet Mignon Steak.
2 servings15 min
Ingredients
- One piece of beef sirloin steak (2.5 cm thick).
- One wheel of Brie cheese.
- 1 tablespoon of applewood chips (smoking chips).
- A pinch of salt.
- A pinch of pepper.
Steps
- 1. To reduce cooking time for the sirloin steak, slice it into thick pieces.
- 2. Place about one tablespoon of smoking chips at the bottom of the smoker. (Be careful not to place a "JeonSieve" at the bottom, as this can impart a bitter taste.)
- 3. Place a rack inside the pot, cover it with aluminum foil, and then place the prepared meat on top.
- 4. Cover with a lid and smoke over medium heat for approximately 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
- 5. Add the Brie cheese during the cooking process and smoke it together (until the surface of the cheese turns brown).
- 6. Once the meat is cooked, remove it from the heat and season with salt and pepper.
- 7. Serve the smoked Brie cheese, which melts beautifully, alongside the meat as a sauce.
