Orange cup and ribbon plating.
1 servings5 min
Ingredients
- One orange.
- 2-3 cherry tomatoes.
Steps
- 1. Remove the orange's label and gently rub it against the floor to loosen the flesh.
- 2. Trim off the ends of the orange slightly, and then cut the body in half horizontally.
- 3. Insert the spoon between the skin and the flesh, rotating it in a circular motion to carefully scoop out only the flesh.
- 4. Place the reserved pieces of the fruit's skin at the bottom of the "cup," and then arrange the quartered fruit pulp on top of them.
- 5. For the other pieces, cut them in half, remove the core, and carefully slice along the line between the skin and the flesh with a knife, leaving the ends intact.
- 6. Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them under the orange slices, arranging them so that the tomato flesh protrudes upwards.
