Ingredients
- Chicken thigh meat.
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce.
- 1 tablespoon of seasoned sauce.
- A pinch of dried ginger.
- A pinch of pepper.
- 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour (total).
- 3 teaspoons (total).
Steps
- 1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Marinate the meat with soy sauce, mirin (sweet cooking rice wine), grated ginger, and pepper.
- 3. Mix 1.5 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1.5 tablespoons of "jeon" flour (a type of Korean all-purpose flour) and use it to coat the chicken, absorbing excess moisture.
- 4. Add 1.5 tablespoons of cornstarch and 1.5 tablespoons of *jeon* flour, then mix well.
- 5. Heat oil to 170 degrees Fahrenheit (or 77 degrees Celsius). Fry the dumplings, being careful not to disturb them, until they are firm and cooked through.
