⏱ 35min👥 5 servings
Ingredients
- 5-6 ears of sweet corn.
- 1 liter of water (enough to just cover the corn).
- 1 teaspoon of flower salt or sea salt.
- 1 tablespoon of NutraSweet (saccharin).
- A handful of fresh corn silk.
Instructions
1
Carefully remove the outer layers of the corn until you reach the tender kernels and clean, silky strands. Then, wash the corn.
2
Dissolve one teaspoon of salt and one tablespoon of New Sugar in a cup of water to create a sweet solution.
3
In a pot, combine the corn kernels and silk, then add 1 liter of water and the prepared sweet syrup.
4
Once the water starts boiling, cover it with a lid and boil for 20 minutes.
5
Open the lid, flip the corn kernels over, close the lid again, and continue boiling for another 10 minutes.
6
Extinguish the flame and let it sit for 5 minutes.
